A warm welcome
It is a great honour for us to be elected as captains of Castle Golf Club for 2024 and we look forward to welcoming all our members, their guests and visitors to the Golf Club for this coming year.
Established in 1913, Castle Golf Club is one of the oldest and finest eighteen-hole parkland golf courses in the country. Nestling on gently sloping land between Churchtown and Rathfarnham, the course is within easy reach of all major routes and the city centre.
Castle Golf course was designed by the great Harry Colt and offers golfers a true test of their ball striking and shot making ability. There are over 75 bunkers in Castle and all our greens are designed to USGA sand-based standards. With each hole well protected by large mature trees, the emphasis at all times is very much on accuracy. Our highly skilled and experienced ground staff ensure the course and the par three Valley course are maintained in immaculate playing condition all year round. The unrivalled views of the course and the Dublin mountains from the clubhouse balcony are just one of its many delights.
Castle has always been a friendly, family orientated club where the club ethos and traditions are carefully preserved and passed on from one generation to the next. The club has a vibrant social scene and a well-earned reputation for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere. A key element of that is the warmth of the Castle welcome which members and staff alike extend to all visitors and guests.
We extend a warm friendly welcome to all members and visitors and hope to have the opportunity to meet you during your visit to Castle Golf Club in 2024.
